Speakers:

April Vogelsang, MS, RN, NEA-BC is the Chief Executive Officer of CIMRO Quality Healthcare Solutions, a not-for-profit, URAC‑accredited independent peer review organization based in Champaign, Illinois. She has served as CEO since August 2022, bringing nearly 30 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality, medical management, regulatory compliance, and care integration. Prior to joining CIMRO in this role, she held senior executive positions with Health Alliance Medical Plans and the Carle Health system, where she focused on system‑wide population health and clinical integration.  She holds a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration and is a Registered Nurse with NEA-BC credentials, reflecting advanced expertise in healthcare leadership and administration. 

 Van Dawson, MBA is the Vice President, Strategic Growth and Client Engagement at CIMRO.  He has served in Strategic Growth since October 2025, bringing almost 20 years of healthcare experience, including leadership roles in analytics, case management, and strategic consulting with hospitals and health systems nationwide. His unique blend of clinical understanding and operational expertise strengthens how CIMRO serves and supports our clients.
